About the job

Do you want to help create participation opportunities, well-being and development for all children?

At Langebjergskolen we are looking for a dedicated and academically strong resource educator for a maternity leave replacement in our lower school. The position is a fixed-term role of 30 hours per week with start on Monday, January 4, 2027.

Are you passionate about creating inclusive learning environments and motivated by creating participation opportunities for children in different positions? Then this is an exciting opportunity to become a central part of our resource efforts in the lower school.

Who are we?

At Langebjergskolen we work from a vision to create a school that our students won’t want to leave. We strive to give students courage for life, a desire to learn more, and a sense of development throughout their school years.

We prioritize that it is the safe and steady adults who together solve the tasks around the children, and we work primarily from inclusive learning environments rather than single interventions. As a resource educator you will therefore be a fixed part of selected year group teams and will have an important role in strengthening children's participation, well-being and learning.

Our teaching is based on a project-based approach, where creativity, innovation and student involvement are central elements. We value academic excellence, well-being and formation as guiding stars in our daily life and see the value in strong communities – for both students and staff.

Your tasks

As a resource educator you will work closely with teachers and pedagogues in the year group team and with the school leadership. You will contribute with your pedagogical perspective and your professional insight to developing frameworks and practices that support all children’s well-being, development and learning.

Your tasks will include, among other things

  • Support for students’ participation opportunities in teaching and in community life through co-teaching and team-taught lessons.
  • Close collaboration with year group teams.
  • Participation in common reflections and sparring in the year group team with a focus on developing inclusive learning environments.
  • Participation in school–home collaboration regarding pupils’ well-being and development
  • Preparation, implementation and follow-up of action plans in close collaboration with the team, leadership and relevant partners
  • Contribute to the development of learning environments and structures that support students’ diverse needs and strengthen the sense of community

Who are you?

We imagine that you

  • Are a trained pedagogue or hold another relevant education
  • Have experience with or an interest in inclusive learning environments
  • Have an eye for children’s resources and development potential
  • Can build strong relationships with both children, colleagues and parents
  • Work systematically and reflectively with pedagogical initiatives
  • Thrive in close interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Can translate pedagogical reflections into concrete actions in practice

We offer

  • A school with engaged and curious students
