Become a healthcare professional substitute at Gundsø Care Center located in the beautiful Ågerup in Roskilde

Are you a student in a health-related education, and would you like to make a difference for people with dementia? At Gundsø Omsorgscenter we seek engaged students who want to become part of everyday life in our small, close care center with 29 housing units for residents with dementia.

Here you get practical, hands-on experience where you develop your professional and relational competences in close collaboration with experienced colleagues. We place great emphasis on creating security, presence and quality of life for the individual resident – and on a close and trusting collaboration with relatives, who are important partners in the residents' lives.

We work with the Marte Meo method, where we through observation and focus on what succeeds in interaction strengthen communication and good relations. You get the opportunity to experience how professional reflection and small actions can make a big difference in daily life.

We are looking for you who

• Are a student in a health-related education who wants to supplement your SU with meaningful work
• Meet people with care, respect and curiosity.
• Have the desire to learn about dementia and relational work.
• Thrive in collaborating with residents, relatives and colleagues.
• Can work weekends during daytime or evening hours on both weekends and weekdays, planned so it fits your studies. We imagine the working hours will be 1-15 hours per week - and otherwise by agreement.

At our place you get valuable experience, professional sparring and the opportunity to develop yourself in meaningful work. We of course ensure a thorough introduction to the house, the residents, the workflows and all the other wonderful colleagues.
