Do you want to make a difference for elderly citizens, then we have the job for you!

At Madservice-Vejen you get to cook for elderly citizens who need nutritious food and can no longer prepare it themselves. Your food will therefore make a difference in the citizen's everyday life.

Madservice Vejen is a modern production kitchen that delivers healthy and nutritious meals to the citizens in the entire municipality, with a focus on freedom of choice and citizen involvement in menu planning. We produce chilled meals for elder care, but also deliver food to institutions and meeting catering for municipal workplaces.

As a nutritional assistant apprentice in Madservice Vejen you get the opportunity to learn about modern production technologies, chilled meal production, and to work in teams with a high degree of independence. Madservice-Vejen works with sustainability, where you get to be a co-player on new initiatives in the kitchen.

Madservice-Vejen aims to educate skilled nutritional assistants, and we therefore offer apprenticeship where you will continuously meet new challenges that create professional development and learning for you. We combine theory with practice tailored to you. As a trainee with us you will experience how food can be much more than just nourishment – it is a part of creating community, well-being and joy of life for the citizens. Our training offer

• An individually tailored training plan with a combination of theory and practice.
• Evaluations, conversations and ongoing follow-up to ensure that you develop both professionally and personally.
• Sparring and guidance from both your internship supervisor and engaged colleagues.
• Insight into modern production technologies.

What we expect from you

• that you have completed the basic course as a nutritional assistant apprentice and are ready to take responsibility for your education.
• that you are reliable and responsible.
• that you are willing to learn and accept feedback and guidance from the skilled professionals in the kitchen.

Interviews are held in week 48 or week 49

Start date is expected to be January 2027.
