Become a purchasing coordinator in textiles and play a central role in Scan Wears' international value chain

Do you want to help ensure that our products are delivered safely and on time from production to customer?

As a purchasing coordinator at Scan Wear you will be a central part of our purchasing team and play an important role in the daily coordination between suppliers, production and internal departments. You work closely with sales and design and report to our Chief Procurement Officer (CPO).

You closely follow our orders through the entire process – from production to delivery – and help ensure high quality, stable deliveries and an efficient collaboration across our international value chain.

The role has many touchpoints, and you will have daily dialogue with both suppliers, our own offices and colleagues across the organisation.

You will be part of an informal and dynamic workplace with short decision-making lines, good colleagues and opportunities for both responsibility and professional development. In daily work we have flexible working hours, where you as a rule can plan your hours between 7:00 and 17:00.

Your responsibilities

• Follow-up on purchasing orders and deliveries
• Coordination and follow-up on production times and deadlines
• Ongoing dialogue with suppliers, our own offices and partners in several countries
• Close daily collaboration with sales and design regarding orders, products and deliveries
• Ensure an efficient and stable flow in production and daily operations
• Control and follow-up on incoming goods
• Handling of ad hoc tasks within purchasing, sourcing and production

We imagine that you

• Have experience from the textile, fashion or lifestyle industry, but this is by no means a requirement
• Experience with private label is a big plus, but not a requirement
• Work in a structured way and have a sharp eye for details
• Are good at prioritising and maintaining an overview in a busy everyday life
• Are proactive and take responsibility for your tasks
• Thrive with many touchpoints and a high level of activity
• Communicate professionally in both Danish and English in writing and speaking
• Have experience with ERP systems and the Microsoft Office suite

Practical information

The position is full-time (37 hours per week) with the workplace in Haderslev, close to exit 68.
