Then you may be our new social- and health care assistant for night shift at DFS Plus.

As a mobile SSA in night shift you get an independent and varied job, where you both provide care and assistance, handle acute situations and have responsibility for the professional follow-up. You will have the opportunity to use your professionalism to create a sense of security for the citizens throughout the night.

In DFS Plus you become an important part of the night shift team and you also get the possibility for close collaboration, professional sparring, and involvement in planning your own route.

What can a shift look like?

You will become part of our night shift route, which covers visits in Brøndby, Hvidovre, Rødovre and Ishøj, but with the most visits in Hvidovre. If needed, you must also be able to handle emergency calls in Greve, Solrød and Køge. We are therefore looking for you who enjoy driving across several municipalities and can maintain an overview during a busy night shift.

You will typically have between 10-15 fixed visits during a shift. The visits are generally of shorter duration (15-30 minutes), and you can look forward to several double visits where you and your partner jointly handle tasks for the citizens.

Working hours are generally from 23:00 to 07:00.

Your primary tasks will include, among others

• Provide care, assistance and practical help to citizens during the night hours
• Handle acute situations, including falls and emergency calls
• Be responsible for medical contact in Hvidovre Municipality
• Collaborate with nurses in Brøndby and Rødovre Municipality when there is a need for professional follow-up
• Document timely and correctly, and perform fall registrations
• Approve visits and navigate current care systems
• Prepare and follow up on visit plans

We expect that you

• Are educated social- and health care assistant and have experience from home care
• Want to work in night shift and thrive in independent work
• Are familiar with documentation and can work in both Cura and Nexus
• Are professionally strong and can act independently in acute situations
• Can navigate between several phones, tablets and systems without losing overview
• Are a good colleague who actively contributes to a safe and professionally strong night shift team
• Have a driver's license

As a night shift you meet at our office in Hvidovre together with your night shift colleague, where you receive handover from the evening shift before you go out on your routes. In the morning there is an opportunity for handover to the planner, so there is coherence in the citizens' pathways.

You will be trained in the role and receive an introduction program so you become familiar with the workflows, systems and responsibility in the night shift. In addition, there is an opportunity for professional sparring with colleagues and nurses.
