Become a Technical Design Apprentice and Contribute to the Energy Solutions of the Future

Do you want to be part of shaping the green transition and at the same time obtain a versatile technical education? At Energinet we play a central role in the development of the future energy system, and you now have the opportunity to join the journey as a technical design apprentice.

A broad and developing education

As a technical design apprentice at Energinet you get a unique opportunity to combine tasks within both CAD and GIS. You will become part of the BIM and Documentation departments as well as GIS and Digital Tools, where you work with technical documentation, map production and data maintenance. You gain insight into electric transmission projects and actively contribute to the green transition.

Your workplace will be at our office in Fredericia, where you join a professionally strong environment with a focus on collaboration, innovation and learning. You will be responsible for concrete tasks and have the opportunity to influence your own training path in interaction with experienced colleagues. You will become part of Energinet's apprentice network and be attached to an education manager throughout the training.

We expect from you

You have completed your basic course or expect to do so soon. You are organized, curious and have an interest in technical documentation, drawing and geographical data. You communicate clearly in Danish and thrive both with independent tasks and in teams.

Your tasks will include

• Preparation of 2D and 3D drawings and models in Autodesk programs
• Creation and maintenance of drawing documentation in Energinet's documentation archive
• Quality assurance of documents and drawings for construction projects
• Incorporation of As-Built material in documentation archives
• Maintenance and updating of GIS data and map production
• Support of construction projects with maps and GIS deliverables

You will become part of Energinet Eltransmission A/S, which has the task of developing, building, owning and operating the necessary electricity transmission network. Thereafter it is made available to society with the right capacity, in the right quality, as cost-effectively as possible and so that the facility can be utilized optimally and safely. Electric transmission ensures optimal Asset Management by focusing on the total lifetime of the installations - from cradle to grave.
