Would you like a meaningful job where you make a difference for adults with intellectual disabilities?

In House 6 at Ane Staunings Vej in Horsens we are looking for engaged and caring temporary workers who want to become part of our daily life – in day, evening and weekend shifts.

With us you will be an important part of a house with 15 adult residents aged 30–84.

The residents have various needs, resources and ways of communicating. Some are independent in parts of daily life, while others need extensive support for personal care, transfers, activities and structure.

Common to all is that they need present, clear and respectful staff around them.

As a temp worker with us you will, among other things, help support the residents in

• getting up well in the morning and getting ready for the day
• personal care, bathing, toilet visits and dressing
• meals, activities and pleasant moments in daily life
• creating calm, structure and security
• getting through the day and evening well
• having a daily life with presence, care and quality of life

You will never be left alone with tasks you have not been introduced to. We ensure that you receive a good introduction to the house, the residents and the tasks you will be part of.

We are looking for you who

• meet the residents with respect, patience and good humor
• want to work with people with developmental disabilities
• can create security and maintain calm in a daily life where days can be different
• are responsible, reliable and good at collaborating
• are willing to both care tasks, practical tasks and pedagogical support
• preferably have experience from the pedagogical or health care field – but the most important is that you have the heart in it

It is an advantage if you have experience with personal care, transfers, medication management or documentation, but it is not a requirement. We help you get started well.

The specific pay depends on the position as well as your experience and qualifications and may, in addition to the base salary, consist of relevant negotiated supplements.
