About the job
Do you want to be part of a professionally strong house where play, learning environments and secure relationships are the focus of everyday life? Right now we are looking for an educator for both the toddler unit and the kindergarten, who wants to join a strong workplace community with high professionalism, a shared direction and high ambitions on behalf of the children.
At Bodil we work from a common professional foundation with a focus on safety, play, learning and strong children’s communities. We work with the Circle of Security, Space and Learning and a playful pedagogy, where the adults actively participate in the children’s play and help all children join the community.
This means, among other things, that we are on the floor, by the building blocks, in role play or inside the ice-cream kiosk out on the playground. We work deliberately with learning environments and have, among other things, our own Leg-otek, where the rooms can gain new inspiration and create exciting themed play environments.
In both the toddler unit and the kindergarten you will need to focus on close relationships, the small developing moments and the children’s attachment. You also need to focus on working with diverse children’s communities, linguistic development and children in at-risk positions, in close collaboration with cross-disciplinary partners.
What we can offer
With us you will become part of a strong workplace community with high professionalism and a warm tone. We prioritize equipping new employees well – whether you are experienced or recently graduated.
You will receive, among other things
- mentor on the unit and close managerial support
- introduction to Circle of Security, Space and Learning and language techniques
- professional focus on staff meetings, biweekly unit meetings and department meetings
- opportunity for weekly preparation time
- a workplace where you have influence on the pedagogical practice
As part of Amager Klynge G we also work across with, among other things, language initiatives and as beacons of expertise to ensure high quality for all children.
We are looking for you who
- are professionally curious, take initiative and want to develop yourself with others
- believe that strong work communities create the best conditions for the children, and you actively contribute to joint solutions
- meet children with warmth, respect and clarity, are focused on their intentions and can see the value in a pedagogy where we guide and never scold
- want to be employed in a large house where we collaborate across to our shared task with the children
