Andel is a central player in the green transition and is in an exciting development with ongoing optimization of the group structure, investments and strategic initiatives. Therefore we are seeking a Director for the tax area who can ensure a strong tax foundation for the group’s continued development.

Your everyday life

You will become the leading tax professional advisor and an important partner for the management, the finance function, legal colleagues and external consultants. You ensure that the tax consequences are handled correctly and commercially, while you contribute to value creation in the transactions and you will play a central role in connection with the group’s reorganizations as well as acquisitions and divestitures.

Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring high quality and compliance across the group within corporate tax, VAT, duties and transfer pricing. You will continuously advise management on tax risks and opportunities, participate in dialogue with authorities and help develop processes and governance that support the group’s ambitions.

You can look forward to a day where you will be responsible for

• Leadership, development and sparring of a small team of 3 employees who report directly to you
• Overall responsibility for the group’s total tax area, including corporate tax, VAT, energy taxes and other indirect taxes
• Overall responsibility for transfer pricing strategy, documentation and compliance
• Sparring with the executive and management on tax matters and risks
• Lead on tax aspects in restructurings, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures
• Participation in due diligence processes and integration of new companies
• Dialogue with tax authorities and handling of tax audits and inquiries
• Ensuring effective processes, governance and compliance across the group
• Collaboration with external advisors and other key stakeholders

You will primarily be based at our location in Svinninge, and there is also flexibility for remote work by agreement with your closest manager.

Who are you

We imagine that you have a strong tax background, either from a larger group or from a consulting firm, and that you have solid experience with complex tax matters, group structures and transactions as well as an understanding of accounting and annual reports. You are used to navigating a complex stakeholder landscape and can translate technical issues into clear recommendations for the business. At the same time you want to lead and develop a small team, where you create direction, engagement and professional sparring.

In addition, you can recognize yourself in most of the following

• Have a relevant academic education in economics, law or similar
• Have solid experience with corporate tax, VAT, duties and transfer pricing
• Have documented experience with M&A, reorganizations and group structures
• Insight into and understanding of financial statements and annual reports
• Have experience with leadership or a strong desire to combine professional leadership with personnel management
• Are business-oriented and can translate complex issues into clear recommendations
• Thrive in the role as advisor and sparring partner for senior stakeholders
• Work in a structured manner and take natural ownership of your tasks
