Do you have good local knowledge and an appetite for a job with a lot of freedom? Then we may have the job for you! Det Nordjyske Mediehus is looking for distributors with their own car to deliver newspapers, letters, magazines and parcels for dao in North Jutland.

About the job

As a distributor you are one of the most important pieces in the night’s invisible network. You ensure that people in the region wake up to their newspapers, letters and parcels in the mailbox or at the door – precise and on time. The distribution takes place in the quiet hours of the night and morning in the time window 03:00 – 11:00 . The job is for you who enjoy the calm on the roads, work well on your own and take pride in doing things properly.

Your tasks

· Start at the depot: You report to our depot, where you load your own car with the day’s route.

· Delivery and quality: You drive out on the route and ensure safe and correct delivery directly to the door or the mailbox.

· Good pace and overview: You maintain a good pace and use your sense of the area to ensure all deliveries are made on schedule.

You will receive thorough training from an experienced colleague and sparring with our operations managers.

Working hours & workdays

• Expected hours: Typically 12–32 hours per week (dependent on the calculated time of the agreed route).
• Work days: Up to 6 days a week.
• Start time: Between 03:00 and 11:00.

We are looking for someone who

· Has a good overview, sound sense of direction and can read and understand Danish addresses.

· Is reliable, responsible and thrives on working independently at night and in all kinds of weather.

· Can communicate in either Danish or English.

You will need to deliver to many different addresses during the night. You must therefore be able to read and understand Danish addresses and house numbers. You must be thorough and conscientious, because it is important that every recipient gets the correct mail at their address.

We ensure to train you so you get started quickly and easily. You should be prepared that there will also be work on holidays and festive days.

You must work according to the Post Act. This means, among other things, that all mail must be treated professionally, confidentially and delivered with high quality to the correct recipient – on time.

Salary and collective agreement terms

• Employment under the Budoverenskomsten (3F) with stable and secure terms.
• Salary: according to the 3F Budoverenskomst for the province – calculated salary according to worked hours 100
• Travel allowance: Tax-free per-kilometre allowance is provided for driving in your own car according to current rates.
