BI & Business Analyst

We are seeking an analytically strong and business-oriented BI & Business Analyst who is passionate about translating data into valuable insights and creating alignment between the business needs and the technical solutions.

In the role you will be a central sparring partner for Commercial, Production, IT and Finance. You will play a key role in understanding the business challenges, identifying needs and translating them into usable BI solutions in close collaboration with both internal stakeholders and our external BI vendor. You will work at the intersection of data, technology and business, where your ability to create overview and understanding will be crucial for the company's continued development.

Your responsibilities

As BI & Business Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the organization with analyses and insights that strengthen the decision basis across the company. You will be the natural bridge between the business and BI development and will have an active role in ensuring that the solutions create real value for the users.

Your tasks will include

• To collect, challenge and qualify requirements from the business
• To translate business needs into concrete analysis and reporting solutions To develop dashboards, reports and visualizations that support the management's and the organization's decisions
• To collaborate with our external BI partner on data models and back-end development To contribute to the ongoing development and optimization of the company's BI landscape
• To identify opportunities for better data utilization across systems, processes and functions

Who are you?

We envision that you have a couple of years of experience in Business Intelligence, analytics or data visualization and are motivated by creating business value through data. You are naturally curious and thrive on getting into new problems, systems and processes.

Additionally, we would like you to

• Have worked with one or more front-end BI tools
• Have experience with Power BI and preferably DAX
• Have a relevant higher education degree in, for example, Finance, Business Intelligence, IT or similar
• Have a basic understanding of system architecture and databases• Have knowledge of SQL and relational databases

The most important thing, however, is that you have a strong business understanding and the ability to translate complex problems into solutions that create value for the users. You communicate easily with different stakeholders and are able to bridge the gap between technical possibilities and business needs.
