At MT Højgaard Denmark we are looking for a sharp profile who either is passionate about or curious to work with calculation, analysis and strategic bid work.

Reporting to the Calculations Manager, you will be part of a strong team in Sales & Tender Construction East, with about 20 dedicated bid staff.

We work closely with each other and with our colleagues from production, and we compete for some of the country’s largest and most complex building and civil engineering projects.

As bid manager you are involved from the initial analyses of the tender documents to the final submission of the bid. You will have a decisive influence on the projects' finances and help ensure that we submit competitive and well-developed bids.

Your primary tasks

• Prepare cost estimates for larger construction projects
• Analyze tender documents and identify risks and opportunities
• Request and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers
• Prepare budgets, quantity take-offs and price estimates
• Collaborate with project managers, specialists and production
• Participate in risk workshops, bid meetings and bid strategy
• Contribute to the development of digital tools and AI-based working methods within calculation

Who are you?

You have a minimum of 5 years' experience from a similar position in the construction industry.
