At MT Højgaard Denmark, one of Denmark's largest contracting companies, we are seeking an additional bid leader for our bid team, Civil and Energy Projects, at our office in Risskov. We have ambitions and are looking for you to help realize them.

We are looking for you who want to participate in the whole process, from the first meeting with the client, through all communications in the process, and ensuring that the team reaches the goal together. In the team you always have sparring and support.

You get a daily life close to our upcoming projects

As a bid leader you have a project-near role where you coordinate and gather contributions from several disciplines into a single bid submission. It is you who is responsible for ensuring that price, schedules, project roles and legal aspects come together in the bids we submit, by involving the right people's competencies continually through the bid process. In addition, you spend your time on your own estimation and bid work. You coordinate with external partners, e.g., subcontractors and consultants, and generally create an overview of deadlines and professional quality in the bid process.

Clients are both public and private clients, and the projects are often among the largest in the Danish construction/civil engineering industry. MT Højgaard Denmark also enters into many partnerships, which often add complexity and exciting learning to our projects and thus also the bid phase. Projects can also be international, where the working language is English.

You report to our Bid Manager, Andreas, and together with him you have a strong influence on the planning of your work and your day-to-day. Depending on preference and abilities you will have the opportunity to tailor your tasks to fit you as a person.

About you

You have a good overview, are good at organizing, and are only satisfied when the “piano plays.” You show calm, have the ability to go into detail, but maintain the helicopter view. You are clear and skilled at communicating in both writing and speaking, and have a good sense of how to make a collaboration work. You are a good networker – there are many partners, and an outgoing and relationship-building nature is a necessity in the job.

Professionally you have a good knowledge of the construction/civil engineering industry and bid work, e.g., from a previous role as bid leader/ estimator. You have a construction-technical education and preferably knowledge of Sigma. You have experience analyzing the client’s needs and requirements from tender material, preferably from larger projects.
