About the job

Do you want to stand at the forefront when blood samples are taken and an electrocardiogram (ECG) is performed? A task that can be pivotal for the patient's further treatment. And do you take pride in being service-minded and helpful? Then we may have the position for you.

We are currently seeking colleagues in the outpatient department at Roskilde Hospital.

We offer

We offer a varied everyday life where you take blood samples and ECGs both in our outpatient clinic and in our inpatient wards. In the outpatient clinic there are different tasks that must be covered every day. You will therefore, after thorough training, contribute to several different tasks such as mobile sampling both for citizens in their own homes and at the psychiatric hospital in Roskilde. Blood sampling in children, glucose tolerances, reception where you become the first face our patients meet.

In the acute team there are likewise various tasks, including blood sampling in children and blood sampling in connection with thrombolysis evaluation.

Pre-analytical work will be the cornerstone of your work and forms the basis for the quality of the subsequent treatment of the patient. It is therefore an important quality in you that you are good at following guidelines.

In connection with the University Hospital in Køge being completed and ready for move-in in January 2028, we will fuse our departments - which means that a portion of the staff currently employed in Roskilde will be transferred to our unit in Køge - this will also apply to you, so you must be able to see yourself working at a large university hospital in the future.

Working hours and shift load

We are looking for colleagues who want to work full-time equivalent to 37 hours per week, with a shift every 2nd Saturday in the outpatient clinic with start time 7-15.

The start time is flexible on weekdays, understood as meaning that after training you can choose between 7:00, 7:30 and 8:00. Whether you want 7.5 or 8-hour shifts is up to you.

What we expect from you

You are educated as a bioanalyst or have another relevant health profession education.

You have a driving license, as the position includes field duties both in private homes and in psychiatry.

That you are service-minded and a team player, who is happy to lend a helping hand to colleagues.

Who we are – the short version

Clinical Biochemical Department, SUH is a large department in development with high activity and professionalism. The department has units in Køge, Nykøbing Falster and Roskilde. There are about 300 employees, of which the largest group are bioanalysts. In the coming years, the hospital in Køge will be expanded to three times its size and is expected to be completed in 2027.

We are a department with good humor, focus on the task, on each other, and on the good working environment. And here there is ample opportunity for competence development if you wish.
