You will join a machine company with around 35 employees, where both standard machines and customer-specific solutions for food production are built. Some tasks end up as single machines, others as parts of larger lines, so the work requires more than just welding by habit. The everyday work takes place in Hobro, and you work close to production, where processing, adaptation and assembly must fit together. It is practical smithing work with machines that should be easy to use and stable in operation.

The role suits you if you can take a topic from pre-processing to finished machining and say when something doesn’t add up. The company car is part of the package, and the salary is 220-260 DKK per hour. You will be used as an experienced professional, where the precision in your work matters for the next link in the chain.

Your everyday

The day revolves around pre-processing and machining of workpieces that must go into machine-building. You work according to the agreed task and keep an eye on whether the targets fit before the piece goes further. When something doesn’t add up, you speak up in time so it can be corrected while the work is still in the workshop.

You will among other things work with

• Pre-processing and machining of metal workpieces
• Cutting, drilling and fitting parts for machine-building
• Assembling and adjusting constructions for production machines
• Repairing and reworking parts in the workshop

The machines must run stably and be easy to use, so small deviations are taken seriously. It creates a daily life where good pre-processing can be felt further down the process.

We are looking for someone who can tick most boxes

You don’t need to be an expert in every corner of the trade. But you must be able to stand behind what you deliver.

We imagine that you

• Have at least 5 years of experience as a metalworker
• Have a driving license
• Can work with pre-processing and machining
• Are reliable and meet as agreed
• Speak up if something isn’t right

It is an advantage if you have worked with machine-building or production before. But the most important thing is that you can maintain quality in the pieces you pass on.
