Create secure environments for the children and yourself

As a day-care provider in Varde you become the everyday hero for a group of four lovely children aged 6 months to 3 years. You weave work and family life together in your own familiar surroundings, and you become part of a strong collegial community among the town day-care providers, who meet about once a week.

You will be provided with all necessary tools for an educational and fun everyday life, including a stroller, toys, high chairs etc. You collaborate professionally closely with your engaged day-care educator on the children learning and well-being.

• You can immerse yourself and embrace differences in the children's personalities and development.
• You acknowledge the value of self-reflection to strengthen the relationship and interaction with the children.

• Your home is well furnished so that everyday life becomes happy days, both indoors and outdoors.
• You have first aid training upon hire or commit to taking it within the first year – the day-care pays for the course and you provide the time.

We offer

• An attractive monthly salary, of which 60% is tax-free – you must cover the costs of the children meals.
• The working time is 48 hours per week in your own home – you accrue 7 days per year of compensatory time off in addition to vacation and the 6th vacation week.
• You start at salary grade 20. As a trained educator or PAU at grade 25, you move up 2 steps after 4 years of employment and a further 1 step after 6 years.

The advantage of being a day-care provider is certainly that I can arrange my everyday life myself, while at the same time I can supplement with the collegial day-care group here in the town, where we meet, for example, in a playroom or outdoors on playgrounds. It is super fun for the children and for us day-care providers to meet and be together all day.
