Become a nutrition assistant apprentice at HE Midt Kitchen – Hospitals Unit Midt, Viborg

Do you want to help cook with meaning? HE Midt Kitchen is seeking nutrition assistant trainees with a start on February 1, 2027 or by agreement.

In HE Midt Kitchen we produce daily nutritionally correct meals for patients, staff and guests – with a focus on quality, sustainability and dignity. We are about 60 employees with different dietary backgrounds. We deliver meals to about 700 patients and 1000 staff daily and operate canteens in Viborg, Silkeborg and Hammel.

You will receive thorough and versatile training in a safe and supportive learning environment, where we prioritise our trainees highly.

Working hours : 6:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (some weeks from 3:00 a.m. for bakery practice). Weekend shifts are included.

About the Service Center

The Service Center handles many of the service functions at the hospitals, including cleaning, supply, kitchen and canteen, information services, technical department, transport tasks across the region, and the shared secretariat. The unit managers in the different service areas independently manage the daily operations of their function area. There are about 550 employees in the Service Center.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement in the field. Employment is with Region Midtjylland with service currently at Hospitals Unit Midt, Service Center.
