Your daily life as an audit trainee at Beierholm

As an audit trainee at Beierholm you will be part of a daily routine where professional challenges and collaboration go hand in hand. You work with audits, accounting and bookkeeping for companies across Denmark - particularly small and medium-sized enterprises. This means you gain insight into many different industries and business models, from newly started entrepreneurs to established companies that want to strengthen their position or expand into new markets.

”A typical day as an audit trainee can start with a client visit to a larger company and later in the day to prepare a tax accounting for a self-employed craftsman. You quickly take responsibility for your own tasks and learn to tailor your advice to the individual client. Even though you have responsibility, you are never alone. You are closely supported by your immediate supervisor and a buddy who supports you through on-the-job training and helps you get started in the trainee role.

A structured trainee program

Beierholm's trainee program consists of a two-year educational program with 9 physical modules, each lasting 2 to 4 days. Here you meet the other Beierholm trainees who started together with you, and you get the opportunity to brainstorm, network and learn together. The modules are supplemented by digital teaching so you have the theory in advance and can use the time for hands-on learning.

After completing the trainee program, you have the opportunity to take the next step in your career at Beierholm - including through our internal audit academy, which gives you even more opportunities for professional development.

Your path to Beierholm

There is not one single right path into the role of audit trainee for us. Maybe you come directly from HHX, STX, EUX or perhaps you are in the process of, or have completed, an education as a financial economist, financial controller, finance bachelor, HA or similar.
