In AAB Division 55 in Ishøj you will have a central role in a large and well-functioning housing department with 1,768 tenancies. Together with a dedicated team you help create safe surroundings, well-functioning homes and positive experiences for residents every single day.

About us

AAB Housing Association is Denmark's oldest public rental housing association and manages around 20,000 rental homes in and around Greater Copenhagen.

In Division 55 we are close to both the homes and the residents. Here, a dedicated operations team takes care of everyday life in the department's 1,768 tenancies, and we help each other to ensure both planned and unexpected tasks are completed safely.

We are now seeking a new colleague who wants to take responsibility, work independently and at the same time be an active part of the community. You will have a workday with freedom, variation and close contact with the people we are here for.

A varied daily life close to the residents

No day is exactly the same. You move between practical tasks, ongoing supervision, resident contact and coordination – always with a focus on ensuring the department functions as it should. You will, among other things, be responsible for:

• solving smaller trade-related tasks in residents' homes and quickly resolving everyday practical challenges
• keeping a close eye on outdoor areas and supervising the department's heating system, so operations are stable and the areas appear inviting
• carrying out move-out inspections and ensuring the homes are safely handed over from move-out to move-in. Knowledge of iSyn is an advantage, but not a requirement
• giving new residents a good start and helping them settle into the department
• handling smaller administrative tasks and coordinating the daily operations in close cooperation with your colleagues.

We are looking for you who

We imagine that you meet residents openly and politely and that you have a natural eye for good service. You work in a structured way, take responsibility and thrive on solving tasks independently. At the same time you can prioritise and keep an overview when the day becomes busy. You have practical sense, are motivated by a varied workday and contribute positively to the collaboration with initiative and good collegiality.

We offer

We offer a permanent position with start as soon as possible and a 37-hour work week excluding lunch break. You will become part of a good working environment in a housing department in ongoing development, where you get influence over both the planning and development of your tasks. You will also have access to health and treatment insurance. Salary and other terms of employment follow the agreement between BL – Denmark's Public Housing Association and ESL.
