Do you want to help build and shape our new BMS initiative? Then become part of AFRY Places. Right now we are seeking an experienced BMS consultant who, together with us, dares, will and ventures to raise the bar for intelligent building operation, digitalisation and technical solutions.

At AFRY we see BMS as a crucial discipline in the buildings of the future. Therefore we are proactively investing in building a competent professional environment within Building Management Systems. We are now looking for a profile who not only wants to design BMS solutions but also wishes to be a professional beacon and co-creator of a new department with big ambitions.

You will join AFRY Places' Department for Commissioning & Technical Consultancy, where we work on some of Denmark's most exciting projects within the construction sector such as offices, hotels, schools, data centres, healthcare buildings, and other complex constructions.

We are specialists in commissioning, technical installations, testing, commissioning and technical advisory. We are now expanding our business with a dedicated focus on BMS, and here you will have the opportunity to make your professional mark on projects, processes and the department’s future development.

As a BMS / CTS consultant you will be responsible for design, advisory and quality assurance of building automation solutions across a wide range of projects, where you will solve tasks such as:

• Establish and develop AFRY’s BMS consultancy as a new professional field.
• Act as a professional sparring partner for colleagues, clients and partners.
• Prepare BMS strategies, functional requirements and technical specifications.
• Prepare invitation to tender material and technical descriptions.
• Define integration requirements between BMS and technical plants.
• Lead design management within the BMS discipline.
• Participate in supervision, testing and commissioning of BMS solutions.
• Support digital and data-driven solutions for building operation.
• Contribute to the development of AFRY’s methods, standards and tools within BMS.
• Participate in bid work and business development.

You thus have the opportunity to help define how AFRY should work with BMS advisory in the coming years.

Qualifications

We envision that you combine technical insight with a structured and collaborative approach to advisory. You have a background such as for example

• Have a degree as an Engineer, Marine Engineer, Electrician, Automation Technologist or other technically relevant education.
• Have 5 years of experience or more with BMS, CTS or building automation solutions.
• Have experience from the consultant, contractor or supplier side.
• Have worked with design, programming, commissioning or operation of BMS systems.
• Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, OPC UA or similar protocols.
• Have experience with integration of HVAC, energy, electrical and monitoring systems.
• Have the ability to translate complex technical issues into practical solutions.

The most important thing is that you have solid experience with BMS/CTS and are passionate about developing both people, solutions and business, and eager to build a new professional field. You must therefore also be able to thrive with a great deal of freedom and high responsibility.

AFRY has 9 locations in Denmark. Your permanent base will be at our offices in Herlev, Herning or Aarhus, depending on your place of residence.
