Kindergarten class teacher for our C classes

We are so fortunate that we now also have a 0th grade in our C-class series. Therefore we are looking for you who are passionate about helping to create the best framework for all pupils in 0.C. Who are you? You have a pedagogical education and in addition:

• Experience working with pupils who are challenged within the ADHD- and autism-spectrum
• Commitment to helping give students the best start to their school life
• Experience with transition work; from May start and onward to 1st grade
• Willingness and experience in creating learning environments where all students can participate
• Desire to work across our general education classes (A + B) and our C-classes
• A natural approach to student involvement and clear relational pedagogy
• Motivation to develop your practice in a professional learning community (PLF)
• Energy to collaborate closely with both team colleagues, parents, external partners and management

The position is a permanent full-time appointment of 37 hours.

Where will you work? In the heart of beautiful nature in Gundsømagle, just a 15-minute drive from Roskilde, lies Margretheskolen, a two-track public school with about 460 fantastic children and 60 dedicated staff. We are a school that believes in communities, strong relationships and intellectual curiosity.

The C-classes – a special community Our C-classes are for normally gifted pupils with attention-, concentration- and developmental disorders.

Here we work purposefully with structure, safety and clear classroom management. Here too, skilled teachers and pedagogues make a huge difference.

The C-classes are an integrated part of the whole school, and it is important to us that all staff work across A, B and C.

We are UNICEF Rights School As a rights school, we actively work with children’s well-being, inclusion and equality.

We have a rights council, shared values, and a strong focus on safety, and all staff participate in recertification as Rights School this year.

We collaborate across professions and have one shared staff room, because we learn from each other.

Music magnet and yes, it also energizes the rest of the school

Margretheskolen is a music magnet in Roskilde Municipality, and we have an extra, fully equipped music room that the whole school has access to.

We develop the musical life with morning song, music week and creative activities.
