Børnehuset Abildvænget is the setting for a safe, developing and educational daily life for 52 kindergarten children and 32 nursery children .

We work from a shared pedagogical vision, where we believe children develop best when they are met with curiosity, presence and positive expectations . We are focused on creating good and inclusive learning environments, where all children have the opportunity to participate and feel like a valued part of the community.

In the kindergarten, we are organized into three age-divided groups with about four adults in each group.

As part of the kindergarten groups we have 11 places for children in need of shielding and/or compensatory interventions – our Moon Places and Resource Places .

The fact that we have children with Moon Places and Resource Places included in the general child community means that the groups are smaller, while the staffing norms are maintained.

The nursery consists of four rooms and has eight shielded Moon Places, which are integrated into the rooms. This means that on each room there are two shielded and six regular places.

Our pedagogical foundation

Our pedagogical work is based on the strengthened pedagogical curriculum.

In addition, we are trained in the neuro-pedagogical perspective .

We are focused on how our view of the child, our relationships and our moods affect the children. We know that the adult makes a difference – and therefore we also focus on our own professional development, well-being and way of being together.

For us, good pedagogy includes being curious about what lies behind a child’s actions, and creating frameworks where children can succeed, develop and feel themselves as part of the community.

We expect to conduct interviews on an ongoing basis.

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. In connection with the recruitment process, references, a criminal record check and a child-safeguarding check will be obtained for the candidate proposed for employment. The certificates are part of the overall final assessment.
