Børnehuset Bøgely is seeking a pedagogical assistant for a kindergarten group

Bøgely is a children’s house with 3 toddler groups and 3 preschool groups. We are looking for an assistant educator for one of our preschool groups.

We are seeking a colleague who will use the position with us as a stepping stone to train to become a pedagogue.

We work with the child at the center, we see the world from the child’s perspective. It is important for everyday life to make sense for the children and for the child to feel understood and recognized. We create the framework for good play, both by facilitating play and initiating play, just as we cultivate play relations and guide on the sidelines.

At Bøgely we place great emphasis on being a unit and prioritise doing joint activities across rooms and ages. We have different traditions throughout the year, which also help strengthen the good community at Bøgely, for children, for parents and staff.

The forest is our natural friend in daily life; we live with our own access into Hareskov Forest. We cultivate the outdoors in the forest and on the playground, and we do it year-round.

The staff group is a wonderful mix of both young and a bit older. Some have been at Bøgely for over 25 years, others have just joined. We have high well-being and low absence. We hold staff meetings once a month, which take place from 17:00 to 20:00. Our opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 07:00 to 17:00, Friday from 07:00 to 16:30. Our new colleague will have shift times with both opening and closing times. From May 1st our opening hours are 07:00 – 16:30 every day. We have summer holidays closed in weeks 29 and 30.

Send us a written application where you introduce yourself, and where you explain why exactly Bøgely is the one you choose to send your application to.

Application deadline den 18. oktober 2026.

Applications are sent digitally and must include a CV.
