Børnehuset Elverhøj is seeking 2 pedagogical assistants – 1 for the nursery and 1 for the kindergarten.

Are you fond of children, animals and nature? Then Elverhøj in Ishøj Village has the job for you!

The Elverhøj Daycare Center is seeking 2 pedagogical assistants – 1 for the toddler room and 1 for the kindergarten.

Who are we

Elverhøj is an integrated day care center with 48 toddlers and 80 kindergarten children, located in scenic nature in Ishøj Village. The children are divided into 4 toddler groups and 4 kindergarten groups, of which one is a large-child group. We have a nature and science profile, where together with the children we are curious and experimental, and we are outdoors in all kinds of weather. Our two houses have a large green shared playground, which we share with our hens and we actively use the surrounding nature, e.g. by cooking over a fire every Friday.

The educational work takes its starting point from our quality parameters , where we among other things focus on views of children, relationship-building and the way we meet the children.

We work from a resource-oriented approach and with acknowledging, welcoming communication towards children, parents and colleagues. We meet each other – both children, employees and parents – with positive expectations.
