Børnehuset Mejemarken is seeking an educator for 37 hours for our kindergarten – starting 1 December 2026.

One of our skilled educators will, after many years, venture into another pedagogical field, and therefore we are looking for a colleague who would like to become part of our community.

We are not just a day care center! We are a place where children, parents and staff thrive and laugh together. Our house in Ørslev, a little outside Vordingborg, buzzes with life, play and learning.

We are 23 dedicated staff members who have responsibility for about 115 wonderful children aged 0-6 years, distributed across three departments (0-2 years, 2-3 years and 3-6 years). We are a professionally strong pedagogical team that works purposefully with our core task: to create safe, developmentally supportive learning environments and meaningful participation opportunities for all children – every day. We continuously develop our pedagogical practice through professional reflections, sparring and close collaboration, where we take shared responsibility for quality.

We are located nicely in relation to green spaces and have several fantastic playgrounds with a ball cage, hills, winding discovery and senses paths and cozy corners. Our indoor facilities are also nice and inviting – for both children and adults. We enjoy going out of the house and have ongoing arrangements with the local trampoline center.

We are also in an exciting development. From September 2026 we will participate in the project Strengthened Language Assessment , and we are part of the project All Children's Daycare . Both projects support our ambition to strengthen quality in pedagogical practice and create the best development opportunities for the children. It also gives you a unique opportunity to become part of a workplace where professional development is a natural part of daily life.
