About the job
Childcare House Mopælappen
where play and presence
become learning and life skills.
Can you see yourself in the work with children from 0-6 years. Do you want to contribute with your pedagogical expertise and your relational skills to a safe and developing everyday life for our many children, so read on.
About us
- Childcare House Mopælappen is the Ærø Municipality's integrated day care from 0-6 years located in the heart of Marstal.
- Mopælappen is situated on an 8,500 square meter large, hilly natural area, within walking distance of both forest and beach. Our premises, inside and out, invite fun, developing and educational play for all children.
- At Mopælappen we work to create the best participation opportunities where diversity is seen as a resource.
- We are part of the Children & Youth area in Ærø Municipality, and work with a basis in the municipality's Children & Youth Policy. Here the shared view of childhood is part of our pedagogical practice.
We have a close collaboration with the family department as well as the public health nurse with a view to early preventive interventions.
In this way we work together to create the good childhood.
- The Children's House is divided into a nursery with two groups, and a kindergarten with three groups.
- As an employee at Børnehuset Mopælappen, you are employed in the whole house, and our approach is that all children are everyone’s children, and we have a shared responsibility to ensure equal participation opportunities in the children's communities for all the house's children.
This is what you can expect from your tasks
- You contribute to creating equal participation opportunities in safe and well-functioning pedagogical learning environments throughout the day with a view to the children's perspective.
- You contribute to pedagogical quality including work with our evaluation culture.
- You participate in group meetings, staff meetings and other activities.
- You engage in the parent collaboration including communication via AULA, as well as our cross-professional collaboration in Ærø Municipality.
- You participate in the children's house's general practical and pedagogical tasks, including planning and structure for everyday life.
We offer
- A large, active childcare house with happy children in well-being, satisfied parents, as well as engaged and skilled employees.
- A childcare house with focus on high pedagogical quality.
- A childcare house with focus on good staffing levels distributed between pedagogues, pedagogical assistants and assistant carers.
- Professional and personal sparring with colleagues and the management team
- A good working environment where diversity, community, loyalty and collaboration are at the forefront.
- Time for preparation.
- A job with a high degree of influence on your pedagogical work, as well as the pedagogical development in the house as a whole.
- A job with opportunities for professional and personal development.
- Good onboarding including a three-month introductory meeting with the manager.
About you we would like to see
- That you are trained as a pedagogue, or have another relevant education.
- That you have experience from the day care sector, or from other work with children.
We are happy to hear from you regardless. The most important thing is that you can see yourself in the work around our pedagogical tasks with the children.
- That you have good relational skills.
- That you have an inclusive view of children and people, and can create space for diversity.
- That you possess good cooperation skills, and are able to relate to perspective differences in a professional and curious way.
- That you can work structurally, and have an overview and can keep calm even in pressurized situations.
- That you have a high degree of flexibility in the collaboration around daily operations aimed at the shared core task.
- That you enjoy playing
