The number of children in Furesø Municipality is rising, and that means more young children who need a safe and inspiring start to life. Therefore we are looking for engaged pedagogues for both nursery and kindergarten.

The profile of Børnehuset is inspired by North Italian pedagogy, where we follow the children’s paths. It entails an acknowledging and inclusive view of children, where we base our approach on the children’s competences, strengths and interests. We are a large children’s house that cherishes being with the little ones. We are focused on how the interior can be a partner, and we therefore work with play zones. Creating more rooms within the room gives a sense of the near and the safe. It enables immersion for both children and adults.

About the job

• You can start on November 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

About Børnehuset Søndersø

We are a 0-6 year institution in Værløse with about 50 nursery children and about 100 kindergarten children. We have 5 nursery groups and 6 kindergarten groups. We have a particular focus on the small groups within the large community.

We are 41 staff members who work well across teams and who are committed to creating a rich and developing childhood. We do not need to be able to do the same things, but we should be passionate about what we want and can do.

We are a smoke-free and shoe-free institution. Salary and employment according to the applicable collective agreement.
