Børnehuset Villa Kulla is looking for a teaching assistant for our kindergarten.

We are seeking a new colleague for a position of 35-37 hours per week with a start date of 1 January 2027. Start date preferably earlier by agreement.

About us: Børnehuset Villa Kulla is an integrated day care in the Holbæk By District with room for about 60 children aged 0-6 years. We have three preschool groups, one toddler group and 16 dedicated and cheerful colleagues. Five of the kindergarten places are reserved for children in vulnerable positions. The children are supported individually or in smaller groups, but included in as much as possible in the regular community.

Villa Kulla is located in the town of Holbæk, close to housing and green areas, forest and beach. So there are rich opportunities to use the local area in daily life.

The available position is in our kindergarten, where themes are worked on throughout the year. The playground is an important learning space for us, and we are out in the fresh air every day.

To support the pedagogical development and quality in our kindergarten, we use, among other things, KIDS, a tool that helps to develop exciting and inspiring learning spaces for play and learning.

We place great emphasis on every child having their own personality and learning style. We therefore focus on organizing pedagogy based on the latest research to ensure the best possible well-being and learning for the individual child.

• You should enjoy working with children aged 3-6 years and through play and activities help create a learning environment where children develop and thrive.
• You should, together with your colleagues, work didactically, systemically and structurally based on the educational curriculum and share responsibility for written documentation in relation to action plans, status descriptions, etc. This is always done together with an educator and with support and training as needed.
• You should be able to work independently with a smaller group of children – we work on sharing the group every day, both on trips outside and in the daily planned activities.
• You should be able to accommodate working with children in vulnerable positions, and together with the house’s educators, participate in conversations with parents and our many partners such as social workers, family therapists, language consultants, psychologists, occupational/physiotherapists, etc.
• You should be able to work in the time frame 06:30 - 17 on weekdays and be able to participate in an annual cycle of planned evening meetings that normally take place from 17:00-20:00
• During illness, holidays and courses we work across the whole house and we expect you to also work with 0-3-year-olds.
• A desire to be part of a house where well-being, job satisfaction and high professional standards are highly valued.
