Then you could be the leader we are seeking for an exciting department head position in home care and nursing in Fjerritslev.

We are in the process of an ambitious initiative with a clear goal: to strengthen leadership close to the employees while at the same time creating even better coherence and interdisciplinary collaboration – for the benefit of the citizens.

Home Care and Nursing in Jammerbugt Municipality has an organization consisting of 4 areas, where in each area there is 1 Department Head and 2 assistant leaders.

About the position

As a leader you will be part of a dedicated leadership team with shared responsibility for creating a well-functioning and development-oriented Home Care and Nursing. Here there is room for both professional sparring, collegial support and shared reflection.

You will play a central role in

• setting direction and helping shape the future of Home Care and Nursing
• creating coherence and unity across the organization
• creating balance between development and financial latitude
• developing strong, interdisciplinary teams with a focus on the citizens' total needs
• working with innovative solutions and welfare technology that strengthen quality and efficiency
• promoting a culture characterized by trust, collaboration and shared responsibility
• further developing ongoing projects and reforms
• contributing to ensuring well-being among the staff in the department

You will both have managerial responsibility for employees and assistant leaders, which provides good opportunities for sparring and joint task solving in daily work.

As a leader you will also be an important driving force in the MED collaboration, where you help to ensure an open, trusting and constructive working environment.

About the area

You will, together with two assistant leaders, be responsible for about 120 dedicated employees consisting of social and healthcare helpers, social and health assistants and nurses.

In the area there are also

• dedicated staff for route planning
• a dynamic screen unit focusing on digital solutions and new working methods
• a training site for social and health pupils and nursing students
• a geographically large area where vacation guests call for dynamic planning throughout the year

About you

We imagine that you

• have a health-professional background and experience with leadership in Home Care or Nursing
• have – or want to take – a leadership education at diploma level and are curious about your own development
• lead from the front and motivate others through presence, meaning-making and clarity to strengthen a good working environment.
• appreciate interdisciplinary collaboration and see the strength in different perspectives
• work in an appreciative, inclusive way and with a focus on creating good relationships
• are able to create direction and contribute to a positive and sustainable culture
