Paver, landscape contractor, or a pair with relevant experience sought for Road & Park in Vejen Municipality

Primary tasks

• Paving tasks - such as sidewalk repairs and setting kerbstones
• Levelling and setting out in connection with carrying out the work
• Smaller pipe laying / drainage tasks in towns and rural areas
• Other maintenance work as needed, including participation in winter service

We expect that you

• Have a background as a structural worker, paver or relevant experience with civil engineering and surfacing work
• Have experience operating construction machinery
• Speak, read and write Danish that is understandable
• Are responsible and flexible
• Hold a driver's license of at least category B. Preferably BE or willing to obtain it.
• Can use a smartphone or tablet, as all work descriptions, tasks and registrations are carried out digitally
• Are a positive person who will naturally fit into the working jargons
• Are service-minded towards both external and internal partners
• Can work independently and in a team

Who are we?

Vej, Park og Genbrug is an operations unit under Teknik & Miljø, employing 75 employees. The core tasks are operation and maintenance of the municipality's roads, green areas and operation of the municipality's recycling centers. In addition, Vej & Park handles operation of sports facilities, outdoor areas at the municipality's institutions and maintenance of the municipality's waterways and natural areas.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms are set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and according to the principles of Ny Løn.

As an employee in the paving team, you will be part of the winter readiness, which is why it is important that you can reach the workplace within 40 minutes from your residence. The workplace is Stenbro Allé 6, Brørup.

We will obtain a child protection certificate upon employment.
