Building designer with at least 5 years' experience

For our client Levehuse A/S in Silkeborg we are looking for an experienced Building Structural Designer, who will work with the technical house design and good customer relations.

Levehuse A/S is experiencing great success with their strong and well-functioning building concept within standard houses and individually designed single-family homes. There is a lot of work in the company and therefore the team is being expanded with another experienced technical- and design-strong colleague who will work with the construction-technical solutions and design in Revit.

Your role

Would you like to join the team? - where you will be tasked with designing houses and details, with the possibility to be the studio’s “Revit specialist” with responsibility for Revit templates and families. Your role also includes engaging in good and creative dialogue with customers.

Your primary tasks will be

• Design single-family homes and terraced houses.
• Customer meetings and advice in the design phase, so customers get to build their dream home.
• Case handling of residential projects from customer approval to construction.
• Prepare drawings and documentation in dialogue with the customer, focusing on choices and solutions.
• Building permit handling with authorities, commencement declaration and occupancy permit.
• “Revit specialist” and be the studio’s “go to” person in relation to maintaining Revit templates and workflow optimizations, etc.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years’ experience and who knows how life is lived in a house. You have a good grasp of both interior design and architecture as well as the design engineering side. You have strong communication skills to engage in dialogue with both customers, authorities and colleagues.

We are seeking a construction-technical experienced design specialist who can take over design tasks from day 1. Therefore you have extensive knowledge of structural details in design and are self-driven from day 1 in Revit.

We envision that you

• are educated as Building Structural Designer or similar
• have a minimum of 5 years’ experience from a similar position, preferably from an architectural firm, where you have designed houses and construction-technical details
• have experience with sketching and possibly visualization
• have experience with authorities contact in connection with building projects
• have strong IT skills, especially in Revit
• Strong communication skills and speak and understand Danish in both written and spoken form
• live within about 45 minutes travel time from Silkeborg.
