We need a building painter for new construction and renovation in Skive.

You will land in a painting team of around 15, where new construction fills much of the day. The tasks are mainly new houses, but there is also renovation and special painting tasks when the client needs more than standard work. The work area is in Skive and the surrounding area, with locations that can be up to about an hour's drive away. You typically work in pairs or teams, so you have people around you on site.

The good thing about the role is that you get responsibility without being left to yourself. You must be able to manage yourself in the trade, but daily life is built around teams and pairs. There is a company car included, and the tone suits a painter who wants orderly conditions and people around him.

Everyday: New build, renovation and painting team

Your everyday The day is about making the painting work fit on the site, so the sequence stays in place. On new builds you typically continue after agreed steps, and you coordinate with your partner or team when something must be taken before the rest. If there is an apprentice on site, you should be able to show the way without making a big deal out of it.

You will, among other things, be working with

• Painting work on new builds, especially new houses
• Renovation of homes and commercial properties
• Special tasks where the finish must be right
• Interior painting of walls, ceilings, doors and windows
• Spackling and priming

If something isn’t right on site, you speak up in time so the team can fix it without petty hassle. It suits a place where good camaraderie shows in how people help each other finish.

We’re looking for someone who can tick most boxes You don’t have to be an expert in every corner of the trade. But you must be able to stand for what you deliver.

• Have at least 3 years of experience as a building painter
• Can handle a painting task without being walked through
• Are stable and arrive as agreed
• Can work in pairs and teams
• Say when something isn’t right

It’s an advantage if you have experience with both new builds, renovation and special tasks before. But the most important is that you can take responsibility for your work and fit into a team.
