BUPL-A seeks team leader as of December 1, 2026

BUPL-A is seeking a team leader for the unemployment fund's team for case processing and member service. The team leader must, with a competent and sharp view, steer the unemployment fund's core services in the balance between clear goals and efficient operations, a dialogue-based leadership style, sound judgment, and a constant focus on what matters for the individual pedagogue's experience of a fantastic service in the unemployment fund.

BUPL-A is a well-run pedagogical unemployment fund that, through close cooperation with the union, has extensive knowledge of the profession and the pedagogical labor market, which makes the unemployment fund offering for pedagogues unique.

A characteristic of the culture in BUPL-A is a high level of ambition, engaged employees, dialogue as the driving force to move things and change, and a strong influence on the joint development of BUPL-A.

You will have a high degree of influence on the operations and development of BUPL-A, and our goal is to be a strong and relevant unemployment fund offering to our members, and we have no doubt that we are the best at getting pedagogues into work.

BUPL-A consists of 3 teams: Case Processing and Member Service, The Job Team, and the Secretariat.

We are located in the Pedagogues' House in Nordhavn.

Responsibilities

• The primary task is the leadership of Case Processing and Member Service
• You must ensure that the unemployment fund's core services are delivered efficiently, and that pedagogues experience high satisfaction in their interactions with BUPL-A
• You must work with the employees to promote high well-being and job satisfaction
• You must, in collaboration with the other management and employees, ensure that BUPL-A achieves the strategic milestones set by BUPL-A’s political leadership.

You will become part of a total management team of 3 people (director, head of The Job Team, and you)

Profile

• You must have personal authority, integrity, and be a highly competent leader
• You must understand the substance of the tasks while also having an overview and the ability to prioritize in relation to these, balancing assurance and good service.
• You must be able to listen, make quick decisions, and address what is difficult and necessary to solve the core task. You will be in close dialogue with the director.
• You must be able to act as a sparring partner for skilled case workers and member guidance officers
• You must have the ability and willingness to delve into the pedagogues' labor market and use it as the driving principle for task solving
• You must have strong collaboration skills and contribute actively and constructively in cooperation with BUPL and PBU – the pedagogues' pension fund
• You have a relevant education and experience, empathy, high spirits, and a positive outlook.
