At the Office for AI Development and Platform we work with solutions that help ensure taxes and duties are paid correctly, so the welfare society holds together. As a Business Analyst you work as part of the development team closely with the business and important legal stakeholders when solutions are delivered, quality assured and operated.

AI Development and Platform – your new workplace

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst who will become part of the AI Development and Platform office. The office has 30 specialists across three teams who help develop, deliver and operate AI and ML solutions for the entire Tax Administration.

You come with a basis in Kanban and agile principles to work with both classical ML models and generative AI. The complexity in the domains we deliver solutions to is high and the compliance processes are extensive. You manage to thoroughly understand both parts and drive deliveries forward in close collaboration with stakeholders and team colleagues, whether it is development of new solutions or operations of established ones.

About you

As an experienced Business Analyst you are the natural link between the business and the development team as you, together with a team of Data Scientists, identify business needs and translate these into technical solutions. You help ensure that our AI solutions meet relevant compliance requirements by coordinating and optimizing the collaboration with our internal legal and IT security functions. When you analyze and document the processes to be supported by AI, you ensure a holistic end-to-end approach to the business process. You challenge the business and ensure that we reach the goal.

You have a structured and transparent approach to your work and thrive on diving into complex topics and communicating these with an appropriate level of detail for a wide range of stakeholders.

We imagine that you

• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in driving processes in the role of Business Analyst or equivalent
• Have experience from complex or highly regulated business domains.
• Have a fundamental technical understanding as well as the ability to grasp complicated processes.
• Have strong communication skills to present your insights in an easily understandable way to colleagues who do not necessarily have the same technological depth.
• Are able to share knowledge with the office's other Business Analysts and, in collaboration with them, help optimize the office's processes
• Are good at working with others, sharing knowledge and making each other’s solutions better

Your educational background can be varied, as we are looking for a generalist who can function as a bridge between several different disciplines. The most important is that you have a focus on cross-functional collaboration and can facilitate this.

It is a clear advantage if you have experience with establishing or implementing AI solutions, including the legal aspects such as GDPR, AI Act and administrative law.

You will be employed under the applicable collective agreement for academics in the state (AC), the collective agreement for office clerks, laboratory technicians and IT workers (HK) or the collective agreement for Executives, etc. (DTS) in the Taxation and Growth Ministry. You will be employed in the Taxation and Growth Ministry with affiliated institutions.
