About the job
Workplace: Social- and Labour Market Administration
Working hours: 37 hours/week
Can you anticipate companies' needs and create partnerships that open new paths to jobs?
In the Labour Market area we work from the vision: Together we create sustainable paths to jobs – through courage, professionalism and collaboration.
We are looking for a business consultant who thrives being out with companies. A colleague who makes contact, builds relations and translates dialogue into concrete opportunities for both companies and citizens.
You must be curious about the everyday life, business and needs for labor – and able to follow the opportunities all the way.
For us, good business service means being close, listening well and finding solutions that work.
You will be the link between companies' needs and citizens' pathway into the labor market.
Your tasks
A large part of your workday takes place in dialogue with companies. You work with both companies we already know and with new companies where the relationship must first be created.
Your tasks will among other things include to
- prospect companies and create new partnerships
- develop existing business relationships
- identify needs for labor and competencies
- create job opportunities and match companies with relevant candidates
- advise companies about JobKolding's offers and opportunities
- collaborate closely with job consultants and other colleagues on concrete solutions
- follow up on collaborations and work purposefully with results and impact
You will also be the coordinator for JobKolding's LinkedIn
In addition to your primary tasks as a business consultant, you will also be responsible for our LinkedIn profile JobKolding.
We would like to be even better at telling the good stories about our work, our collaboration with the companies and the opportunities and services JobKolding offers.
A couple of colleagues contribute ideas and input, but you will be the one who ties the threads together and ensures that content is created and published.
You will, among other things
- spot relevant stories
- convert input from colleagues and companies into short and engaging posts
- plan and produce content for JobKolding's LinkedIn profile
- take care of the visual expression in the posts.
Today we use Canva, but you are not tied to a specific program. The most important is that you have a sense of communication and can create content that is professional and relevant.
You do not need to have a communications degree, but it is clearly advantageous if you have a flair for social media, communication and visual content.
Who are you?
First and foremost you are good with people and relationships.
You can meet the companies at eye level, build trust and be genuinely curious about their reality.
You do not need to have one specific educational background. The most important is that you can work independently, take responsibility and achieve results together with others.
It is an advantage if you have experience from the employment area, but not a requirement. You may also come with a background in e.g. recruitment, sales, HR or other business-oriented consulting, if you have the right approach to relationship work and results.
You must have a valid driving license category B, and it would be an advantage if you have your own car available, as part of the work takes place at companies' premises.
We particularly emphasize that you
- thrive with proactive work and many external contacts
- find it easy to build relationships and trust
- are curious about companies' business and needs
- can see opportunities and translate them into concrete solutions
- work independently and structured
- take initiative and follow up
- have an eye for a good match between company and citizen
- communicate clearly and credibly
- have energy and engagement and contribute positively to collaboration with colleagues.
How we work
In Kolding Municipality we work with the vision Together we design life, where the core elements we work from are Citizen in the Center and Self-worth and Coherence.
For you this means, among other things, that you must be curious, dare to challenge existing practices and be open to different perspectives and solutions.
We work professionally reflective and use design as a method to investigate challenges, involve different perspectives and develop solutions. This means we do not always know the answer in advance. We are curious about practice, test ideas and use experiences and feedback to continually qualify our solutions.
Who are we, and what can we offer?
You will become part of Recruitment and Upskilling, which is part of the municipal business service and belongs to the Center for Business Service and Partnerships.
Our task is among other things to support the companies with qualified labor and contribute to citizens getting into work or education.
We emphasize high professional standards, collaboration and a strong social community. With us there is room for professional discussions, different perspectives and testing new solutions. You also get a lot of freedom to plan your own workday and prioritize how you best create results together with companies.
The Labour Market area consists of three centers: Center for Jobs and Retention, Center for Jobs and Development, and Center for Business Service and Partnerships, where Recruitment and Upskilling belongs.
In the Labour Market area we work with a flexible Friday model, where Friday is generally a home-working day. The position is also covered by the ongoing experimental framework until December 31, 2027, where employees and managers by agreement can participate in a four-day work week.
Salary and terms of employment
Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
Salary is determined according to the principles of local salary formation based on the position's functions and your qualifications.
The application deadline is 2 November 2026, and interviews will be held on 11 November. You will be informed on 4 November 2026 if you are invited to a personal interview.
The position is desired to be filled by 1 January 2027.
If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact Department Head Camilla Frost Klapija by email: [email protected] .
All positions are full-time unless otherwise stated. Kolding Municipality invites all interested regardless of age, gender, disability, religion and ethnic background to apply for the position. Prior to employment Kolding Municipality conducts criminal record checks/child protection checks when required by law, or the position otherwise justifies it.
