About the job

Can you translate a complex sick leave case into concrete possibilities at a workplace?

Can you see what it takes to retain a sick-listed employee – and at the same time assess when there is a need to try new avenues in the labor market? And are you the type who takes responsibility for the process, creates forward momentum and follows an agreement through to the end?

Then you might be our new business consultant in Frederikssund Municipality.

We are looking for

We are looking for a professionally strong and action-oriented business consultant to work with sick-listed citizens on sickness benefits and in job clarification programs.

You will play a central role in the business-oriented effort and work closely with the citizen, the company and the caseworker. Your task is to translate the citizen's resources and protective considerations into realistic opportunities on the labor market – and together with citizens and businesses find solutions that actually can work in practice.

With us, business service is more than just creating contact between citizen and business. We expect you to take professional responsibility for the business-oriented process. You take the initiative, respond quickly, follow up consistently and adjust the effort when something does not work.

You must be able to create a professional relationship with the companies and at the same time dare to be clear with both citizen, company and partners when there is a need for new solutions or another next step.

Your tasks

You should among other things

  • clarify and develop the citizen's work ability in close dialogue with citizen, company and caseworker
  • establish, plan and follow up on work placements and other business-oriented programs
  • support retention, gradual return, partial return to work and full return to work
  • identify possibilities for new job functions or industries when returning to the previous job is not realistic
  • ensure progression in the programs and react when a program does not develop as expected
  • contribute with your business and labor market professional assessment in the cross-disciplinary collaboration around the citizen.

You have daily contact with the companies through personal meetings, by phone and digitally, and part of the workday therefore takes place at the workplaces. It is an advantage if you have your own car which you are willing to use in the job.

We are looking for someone who

  • has a social-work education
  • has experience with business-oriented employment work and preferably with citizens with health limitations
  • has a strong labor market professional understanding and can translate professional assessments into concrete actions
  • is strong in writing, both in journaling and report writing
  • works independently, takes initiative and creates progress – even when the case is complex, or the obvious solution does not exist
  • is clear and professional in cooperation with citizens, companies and colleagues
  • works structured and ensures that agreements, documentation and follow-up are handled in a timely manner
  • has good digital skills and works securely in relevant professional systems. Knowledge of Fasit, Viktor-app, SUMMA and Dialog Support is a plus
  • actively contributes to the team's professionalism through sparring, knowledge sharing and constructive collaboration.

We place emphasis on your experience, your professional judgment and the way you work.

Employment conditions

Employment is full-time, 37 hours. Salary according to the applicable collective agreement. Employment from January 1, 2027.

Submit your application and CV no later than October 27, 2026. Interviews will be held on October 29. Possibly a 2nd round interview on November 2, 2026.

If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact professional coordinator Torben Jensen at telephone 23 74 35 83 or department head John Schiellerup at telephone 24 98 13 51.

We look forward to hearing from you!
