Business Developer for the Development of Procurement and Logistics

Banedanmark's procurement and supply chain is a complex entity.

Materials must be available at the right time, processes must fit together, data must be usable for management, and many different disciplines must work together. It requires people who can see more than their own part of the process.

We are therefore seeking a business developer for Analysis and Business Development in Procurement, Logistics and Real Estate, who can work with complex problems, understand the connections and translate them into solutions that can be applied in practice.

Your role

You will have a broad development role, where you work with analysis, process improvement, facilitation and implementation. A task can begin with a single question: Why are the materials not arriving on time? The answer may lie in the forecast, the purchasing process, SAP, master data, the warehouse, at the supplier - or in the interaction between several of the parts.

You will, among other things,

• analyze and improve processes within procurement, warehousing, logistics and supply
• identify interconnections between processes, data, systems and the organization and translate them into concrete improvements
• participate in and coordinate development tasks across Banedanmark
• plan and facilitate workshops together with the business
• translate business needs into processes, requirements, KPIs and data needs
• contribute to the implementation and subsequent improvement of solutions

We are looking for someone who can see connections

You do not need to be a specialist in all parts of procurement and supply chain. The most important is that you are curious about how processes, data, systems and the organization fit together, and that you can collaborate with different professional disciplines to develop solutions.

We imagine that you

• have experience with business development, process improvement, procurement, supply chain, operations or similar
• can analyze problems and create structure
• can collaborate with different professional disciplines and stakeholders
• can communicate problems and proposed solutions in an understandable way
• have an interest in how data and technology can support the business

It is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have experience with one or more of the following:

• practical procurement, suppliers or supply
• SAP or other ERP systems
• a project- or material-heavy organization

You do not need to know it all. The most important is that you can understand complex contexts, ask relevant questions and contribute to improvements from idea to implementation.

A team that both analyzes and implements

Analysis and Business Development work, among other things, with data and analytics, forecasting and S&OP, contract management, compliance, Category Management, Procurement Academy and process improvements.

We work both with understanding needs, developing solutions and supporting implementation in the business.

With us, an improvement of a procurement or supply chain process can have a direct impact on whether materials are available when railway projects need them. You will therefore work on problems where better processes, data and planning can create measurable effects - both economically and operationally.

Our ambition is to develop Banedanmark to have a more mature Supply Chain and Procurement function.

Salary and employment

If you are an academic, you are employed according to the then-current collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and a number of academic organizations for academics in the state.

You are placed based on academic seniority and experience as an employee at the base level according to the applicable collective agreement, which you can find here and the Employee and Competence Agency's salary overview, which you can find here.

Depending on your qualifications and competencies, there is the possibility of negotiating an allowance. There will be an employer-financed pension scheme of 18.07%.

Otherwise you are employed according to the then-current Common Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations – The Public Sector (OAO-S Common Agreement) and organizational agreement for office clerks, lab technicians and IT employees.

The position is generally placed in salary group 3.3 Capital Region according to the applicable collective agreement, which you can find here and the Employee and Competence Agency's salary overview, which you can find here.

Depending on your qualifications and competencies, there is the possibility of negotiating an allowance. The total salary will include an employer-financed pension scheme of 16%.
