Then you might be the one we’re looking for at Slangerup School, Lindegård department!

We are looking for a teacher who wants to be part of a school day where professionalism, community, curiosity, and good relationships go hand in hand.

Your professional toolbox should ideally include mathematics, English, crafts and design (HDS) and music . And if you happen to enjoy water and can participate in our swimming instruction , we’ll be even happier. You will be assigned as a class teacher for a 4th grade class.

Who do we hope you are?

First and foremost, we hope you are a teacher who enjoys being with children and young people , and who knows that a good relationship is often the beginning of good learning.

You don’t need to know everything from day one. Instead, we hope you have a willingness to contribute, collaborate, and help create a good school – both in your own classroom and with the rest of us.

We imagine you to be someone who

• has strong competencies in mathematics and can make the subject understandable and meaningful.
• can take a 6th grade class a good place forward in English.
• wants to create, build and experiment with the students in HDS .
• can bring music into the school day and create joy and togetherness through tones, rhythms, and song.
• preferably has competencies in swimming – but this is not a requirement
• is clear and present and meets the students with positive expectations
• believes that the best solutions are often created together with others.
