We are seeking pedagogically strong adults who are not afraid to get dirt on their knees, paint on their hands, or take the children out to explore the world.

In Børnehuset Troldehaven we are looking for pedagogically educated staff for both nursery and kindergarten with start as soon as possible.

Troldehaven is in the middle of an important development. We are in the process of setting a new and clear professional direction for the house, and therefore we are looking for colleagues who have the competencies and the desire to be an active part of that development.

We are looking for you who stand secure in your pedagogical professionalism, preferably with solid experience from day care and who can take independent responsibility in everyday life. You should want to bring your knowledge, your experiences and your perspectives into play and at the same time be able to participate in a binding professional community around a shared professional direction.

Who are we?

Troldehaven is an integrated day care with around 130 children distributed across nursery and kindergarten.

We work for a day care where play, relationships and opportunities to participate are the foundation for children's well-being, development, learning and formation. It requires adults who are close to the children, actively participate in their everyday life and at the same time can relate professionally and reflectively to the pedagogical practice.

We work with KIDS as Vordingborg Municipality's quality and supervision model and participate in the work with Strengthened Language Assessment . At the same time we have a special focus on children in vulnerable positions and on developing inclusive learning environments where all children have real opportunities to participate and feel themselves as part of the community.

We are working towards a practice where observations, documentation and professional reflection are actively used to qualify our pedagogical decisions and develop the learning environments around the children.

We wish to bring the local community more into play as a natural part of our pedagogical practice. Nature, forests, the beach, the library, Gåsetårnet, the hall and the Spring Center give us many opportunities to create varied learning environments and move pedagogy out of the house.

We believe that children learn in many places, also outside the institution's four walls.

We are looking for you who

• are pedagogically trained and preferably have solid experience from day care
• stand secure in your professional knowledge and can translate professional knowledge and reflection into concrete practice
• can take independent responsibility and at the same time engage constructively in a binding work community
• are an active, present and playful adult who can see the world through the children's eyes
• have a view of children's different participation opportunities and can work inclusively with children in vulnerable positions
• have good written competencies and can express yourself clearly and professionally in documentation and communication
• dare to be curious about both your own and shared practice and contribute constructively when something needs to be developed or done differently
• actively contribute to collaboration with colleagues, parents and cross-disciplinary partners
• want to help create and anchor the new professional direction in Troldehaven

The practical

The positions are 37 hours per week with start as soon as possible.

Troldehaven has expanded opening hours as part of Vordingborg Municipality's commuter option . It is therefore important that you can work flexibly and participate in the duty roster for the entire institution's opening hours .

Working hours will vary between early and late shifts, and you must be prepared that the working hours are placed according to the house's and the children's groups' needs.

Salary and terms of employment are according to the applicable collective agreement.
