Center for Documentation and Intervention against Extremism (CDE) in the Directorate of Immigration seeks a skilled and engaged academic to become part of Acquisition & Analysis Unit . You will play a central role in strengthening Denmark's efforts against extremism, unwanted foreign influence and parallel societies.

We are part of the Directorate of Immigration and work purposefully with documentation, prevention and countering religious and political extremism both nationally and internationally. With a focus on knowledge and collaboration we help create security in Denmark.

We are organized into three units

• Country Documentation
• Acquisition & Analysis
• Prevention and Advisory

The vacant position is located in Acquisition & Analysis, where you will become part of a diverse knowledge collective consisting of about 20 colleagues with different professional backgrounds.

About the position

In Acquisition & Analysis we love data and language. We support the center's data-driven prevention work and are responsible for investigating individuals, environments and organizations in relation to e.g. the Act on Prohibition of Receiving Donations (the donations list) and the national sanctions list of religious preachers with entry bans. In addition we support asylum casework with person searches and extraction of mobile phones.

Our work is based on Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), language competencies and the use of both quantitative and qualitative data.

It is essential that you have strong abilities in collaboration and network-building, as we collaborate both internally and externally with many stakeholders with different expertise.

Your responsibilities will include

• Analysis and documentation of data for use in prevention and sanctions lists.
• Sharp and precise written and oral communication in the form of reports and presentations.
• Use of language skills and OSINT tools in collection and intelligence work.

We are looking for someone who has

• A relevant academic educational background.
• Language skills approaching native level in Arabic.
• Danish skills at native level.
• Experience with or interest in data, network analysis and OSINT.
• Strong collaboration and networking abilities.
• A desire to be part of a team.
• Ability to see connections across government areas.
• Preferably experience with communication at department or agency level.

We expect the first and second interview rounds on respectively 21 and 26 October 2026. In connection with the first interview round there will be a language test in Arabic and Danish. There will be a case associated with the second interview.

Salary – and employment terms

You will be employed under the state collective agreement for academics and will be placed as an officer (fuldmægtig). There is the possibility to negotiate allowances that match your qualifications.

The employment area is the Ministry of Immigration and Integration with associated institutions, and the workplace is the Directorate of Immigration, Sandholmgårdsvej 40, 3460 Birkerød in Allerød municipality.

The position is a permanent full-time position with an average of 37 hours per week.
