Care assistant for a disabled woman sought near Vejle

I am seeking a disability assistant for a permanent position. The shifts will be every Friday 8-15 and every 4th Saturday and Sunday 9-15.

In addition, I am also looking for fresh and flexible substitutes for illness and holidays on weekdays.

I reside in Nørup outside Vejle and am seeking proactive helpers.

I am a woman born in 1972, who was diagnosed with autism in 2023. My mind often works quickly and jumps between many thoughts and ideas.

I am partially paralyzed on one side and sit in an electric wheelchair. I live with chronic pain around the clock, daily migraines, and fluctuating vision. Despite this, I try to focus on what gives energy and joy in everyday life.

Therefore I need an helper who can function as my arms and eyes and who can take initiative when the pain becomes too much.

I am also sensitive to sound, light, and perfume, and it is therefore important that you show up without perfume.

About you

This job is ideal for you if you have time and desire to help me on weekdays. It is suitable for people who already have a part-time job or who perhaps are retired/pensioned. The most important for me is that:

• You are willing to prepare plant-based food
• You can accept that some days I am more affected by pain than others
• You are flexible and can step in during illness and holidays
• You can take initiative when I do not have the energy yourself
• Experience is not necessary – you will receive thorough training
• You want to make a real difference in another person's everyday life
• You speak, read and write Danish

The job

The tasks may include

• Daily practical tasks such as laundry, tidying, dishwashing and cleaning
• Cooking
• Help with creative activities

This is a temporary job mainly during weekdays, where the need most often arises due to illness and holidays. It is typically weekdays that are hardest to cover, and that is where you come in.
