Care assistant sought for man in Eskebjerg near Kalundborg

I'm a 77-year-old man, who after a fall accident lives with tetraplegia. Therefore I need help with most things in everyday life – from personal care to practical tasks at home. I also use a CPAP and a cough machine, but it is a completely natural and routine part of my daily life.

I live in a lovely house in Eskebjerg together with my husband. Here the atmosphere is warm, relaxed and often quite humorous. We like to laugh, talk about big and small things and have an everyday life where there is also room for coziness. We both love cooking – especially Thai cuisine – and enjoy being in the garden or going into nature when the weather allows.

I'm looking for a new helper

I have had my grant extended and therefore am seeking a new permanent helper for my team.

The position consists of 3 awake night shifts per week

• Monday 00:00–08:00
• Tuesday 00:00–08:00
• Wednesday 00:00–08:00

So it's a permanent position of 24 hours per week.

You will of course be thoroughly trained in my routines and the tasks that come with the job.

Who are you?

I am looking for both men and women, and the most important for me is not your age or your educational background. The most important is that you are:

• stable and responsible
• calm and comfortable working independently
• mentally alert and have a good sense of humor
• respectful and understand that you work in a private home
• non-smoker

You need to be able to take responsibility and at the same time have a smile at the ready. In this house, humor is at least as important as structure.

It is not necessary that you have experience as a disability helper beforehand. The most important is that you want the job and are prepared to get to know my routines.
