Care Center Manager for Vibedal Care Center

Set the direction for a good old-age life as our new care center manager

We are seeking a care center manager for Vibedal Care Center as of December 1, 2026.

As care center manager you will have the overall responsibility for the center's operation, professional quality and ongoing development. Together with the assistant manager you will create a home where residents experience a safe and dignified everyday life, and a workplace where employees thrive and develop.

You should be able to set a clear direction, lead and inspire our skilled staff at the care center. At the same time you are expected to be an approachable leader who is close to each employee and supports both well-being and professional development – always with residents' quality of life and needs at the center.

About Vibedal

Vibedal Care Center consists of 62 care apartments, distributed across three generic housing units and a special unit for people who have a dementia disease with complex needs. We have an activity and day center offering and a reception kitchen. We have excellent physical premises inside and outside for both residents and staff.

We are a staff group of 80 employees, focused on high professionalism as well as a good working environment and well-being in daily life. We work with person-centered care and use Tom Kitwood's theories in resident conferences. We have close cooperation with relatives and volunteers, whom we see as important actors in the residents' lives.

Our aim is for Vibedal to be a good and safe place to live, where residents feel at home, where relatives and the volunteers want to come and feel welcome.

We are currently particularly focused on implementing the new Elderly Law, including holistic care and residents' self-determination. We are also part of the project "Joy of life and presence in nursing homes in collaboration with civil society", which focuses on increased collaboration between nursing homes and civil society.

We are looking for you who

• Have a health-professional education and leadership experience.
• Have a trust-based leadership style, where presence, recognition and dialogue are keywords.
• Can translate strategies into concrete actions in daily operations.
• Can support professional quality and implement the new Elderly Law locally.
• Have strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Are passionate about professionalism, development and a good working environment.

Employment

Salary is set according to applicable collective agreement and principles for local pay formation. The specific salary range will be disclosed prior to the interview.

The position is a permanent full-time role with start date December 1, 2026.
