Caretaker with professionalism and a heart for social work

AOF Region Nordjylland – 30 hours/week

Do you have your hands firmly on the tools – and a desire to make a difference for others?

Then you may be the one we are looking for for our new janitor and service function in AOF Region Nordjylland.

Become part of something new

We are in the process of establishing a facilities and service line as part of our social economy effort. Here we combine practical work with an important task: to give young people and citizens in programs the opportunity to become part of a working community.

Therefore we need you, who both have practical skills and human pedagogical capacity – and who can see the value in bringing others along in the work.

Your tasks

You will work with classic janitorial and maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and practical operational tasks.

An important part of the job is also that you

• Can accommodate and involve STU students and citizens in task solving
• demonstrate, explain and support in practical tasks
• function as a professional role model in a everyday life with real tasks

You do not teach – you work with people and help them succeed in practice.

Your profile

We imagine that you

• have a craft background – or solid practical experience you can document
• meet others with a calm, patient and appreciative approach
• have a desire to work with people and contribute to their development
• have the capacity for both the task and the relationship
• work independently and take responsibility for your tasks

You do not need pedagogical experience – your approach to people is the most important.

We offer

• A job where you bring your professional skills into play in a new way
• A daily life where you create visible and meaningful results
• An engaged collegial community with a focus on both people and professionalism

There will eventually be the possibility of full-time.

We read applications and conduct interviews on an ongoing basis.
