Are you caring, present, and able to create security for the people you interact with? We are seeking a pedagogue (educator) who is authentic and clear in their communication and wishes to become part of a staff group focused on development.

You will be part of a fixed citizen team, which specializes in the individual citizen's functioning level, needs and life wishes. We work with 1:1 staffing around a client with pervasive developmental disorders within the autism spectrum. You can expect long shift starts (8 to 22), which in addition to flexibility in your life also gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the work around the individual client and work purposefully with the pedagogical strategies you have established in collaboration with your team.

All teams follow an annual wheel containing time for professional deepening in the pedagogical effort and development plan as well as professional supervision. In addition, we highly prioritize teamwork and strengthen the collective “WE” at the workplace through daily overlap and joint meetings.

We expect that you have

• a relevant pedagogical or health-related education – such as educator, pedagogical assistant, teacher, social worker, occupational and physiotherapist or SOSU-assistant
• knowledge of autism, TEACCH, and working with people with psychological challenges
• a professional competence that enables you to maintain an overview and make decisions in the moment with and about the client
• a high level of integrity, honesty, and willingness to take responsibility
• a desire to work in a workplace where two days are never the same
• a willingness to tackle complex professional tasks and develop your competencies in practice
• driving license B
