We are looking for an experienced carpenter for commercial construction in Silkeborg.

You will land in commercial construction where carpentry ranges from new builds and renovations to service and roofing. The company typically works in main and total contracts, so there are several trades, suppliers and consultants around the site. Some tasks you handle yourself, others you take with a partner or a crew. It creates a daily life where you must be able to think for yourself and contribute properly to the team.

This is for you who want breadth in the trade without hopping between short temporary jobs. You’ll get a company car, steady work and a place where good camaraderie actually matters in everyday life. When drawings, deliveries and other trades have to fit together, you are expected to say if something doesn’t add up.

Everyday: New builds, renovations, service and roofing

Your everyday When you clock in, it’s about getting the day’s sequence and the tasks that are ready under control. In service and spjæld (dampers/shutters) you should be able to assess what can be done immediately and what must be reported further. In new builds and renovations you follow the site plan so the next trade can come in.

You will, among other things, be working with

• Carrying out new builds on commercial construction
• Renovating and reconfiguring active sites
• Solving dampers and service tasks
• Working with roofing when the task requires it

There is a staff association and social events, so camaraderie doesn’t only live on the construction site. It suits you if you can take the initiative alone and be a solid part of the crew.

We’re looking for someone who can check off most things You don’t need to be an expert in every corner of the trade. But you should be able to stand behind what you deliver.

We imagine that you

• Have at least 7 years of experience as a carpenter
• Have a driving license
• Can work independently without losing grip on agreements
• Show up reliably and take responsibility for your part of the site
• Speak properly with customers, colleagues and other trades

It’s an advantage if you have experience with both new builds, renovations, service or roofing before. But most important is that you deliver solid work and speak up if something doesn’t add up.
