Caseworker for the Road Authority in Brønderslev Municipality

Do you want to help ensure a well-functioning and traffic-safe infrastructure in Brønderslev Municipality? We are seeking an engaged case handler for our road authority who wishes to work with authority tasks, citizen dialogue and cooperation with both contractors, utility owners and colleagues across the organization.

As a case handler, your main tasks will be

• Handle applications for excavations, easements and arrangements in the ROSY application module.
• Close dialogue and cooperation with contractors, excavation actors, utility owners, developers, arrangement planners and citizens.
• Planning, coordination and execution of the municipality's road safety campaigns.
• Handling inquiries from citizens, businesses and partners.
• Preparation of case proposals for political consideration.
• Professional sparring and coordination across the municipality.

As a authority figure, you must be able to make well-founded decisions while creating a constructive dialogue with the people affected by them.

You will become a central part of the municipality's road authority and will have responsibility for ensuring that activities on and around the municipal roads are carried out in accordance with applicable law and with focus on traffic safety and accessibility.

You will be part of Team Infrastructure and Projects in Climate and Tech. Here you will join a strong interdisciplinary community where we help each other, share knowledge and together find the best solutions.

We are therefore looking for a colleague who thrives on combining legal and administrative tasks with citizen contact and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have a relevant educational background in engineering, planning, administration or law, e.g. as an engineer, surveyor, technical designer, building constructor, lawyer or similar.

It is an advantage if you have experience with public administration, authority handling or road area, but it is not a requirement. The most important is that you have an interest in authority work and a desire to learn about legislation and complex problem areas.

We are looking for a colleague who works in a structured way and takes responsibility for their own tasks. You are able to build good relations and can communicate clearly with both citizens, contractors and partners.

At the same time you thrive on finding solutions in complex cases where different interests must be balanced. You manage to reconcile regard for the laws, road safety and good citizen service.

The position is a permanent full-time role of 37 hours. Salary and terms of employment in accordance with applicable collective agreement. Work location is at the Town Hall in Dronninglund, Rådhusgade 5, 9330 Dronninglund.
