Become an important player in Coolshop's Purchasing Team

We are on the hunt for you, who is a senior buyer with a strong commercial profile. Purchasing is your craft and with a large network and expertise within the beauty industry this is where you feel completely at home.

As our new buyer you will cover the whole purchasing field, where your daily tasks include:

• Co-responsible for development of the category with focus on achieving KPIs.
• Supplier negotiations with responsibility for your own supplier portfolio.
• Campaign planning within your own area of responsibility and in accordance with the annual cycle.
• Pricing of assortment and campaign items including ensuring competitiveness in the area.
• Analysis of market data, competitor monitoring and identification of new e-commerce trends and opportunities.
• Identify and spot new trends within the product category.
• Participate in daily work and sparring in the category.
• Extensive contact interface in the organization focusing on finding solutions.
• Ad-hoc tasks.

You will have a broad contact network across the whole house, but your primary focus will lie on the beauty categories. You will work in close collaboration with the purchasing team and report directly to the category's Market Manager.

We are looking for a candidate who has fire in their eyes, is decisive and ambitious on their own and Coolshop's behalf. We expect you to burn for your area of expertise , and to strive to be better than the industry – and better than you were yesterday. You are a team player and understand that no one is finished until everyone is finished. You approach challenges and tasks with a positive mindset because you know that your energy rubs off on your nearby fellow humans, and that everyone has a shared responsibility for the good working environment.

Expectations of you are that you

• Have a commercial education e.g., BA, cand.merc., or similar education and preferably 3-5 years of experience as a buyer or similar experience.
• Have strong interest and experience within the category and an eye for spotting new commercial trends / product groups.
• Experience with an e-commerce company is an advantage.
• Are results-oriented and have a strong drive and motivation to develop the category.
• Are a good merchant with a sharp eye for a good deal.
• Are skilled at negotiation and good at seeking out and landing deals with new suppliers.
• Work in a structured way, good at prioritizing and always meet your deadlines.
• Have an analytical approach and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Are adaptable, thrive in a busy everyday life and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves yourself.
• Are good at navigating a digitized, change-driven organization with many stakeholders.
• Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite including good Excel skills; familiarity with Targit and SAP is an advantage.
