Charge nurse for night shift in Helsingør Municipality

Are you a trained nurse and want to make a big difference for the citizens in Helsingør?

You will be part of a small team consisting of an SSA, 2 SSHs and you as the nurse, where you have close collaboration with your colleagues. We know that professional quality does not arise on its own, but is developed through collaboration, training and good leadership.

As part of the night shift in Helsingør you will have exciting tasks and good opportunities for professional challenge in close collaboration with your colleagues. The night-time work areas are both exciting and varied - two nights are rarely the same.

In the Home Care service in Helsingør Municipality we work together for the citizens. Employees and leaders work purposefully to ensure job satisfaction, professional pride and quality in the work. We place great emphasis on delivering the best care and nursing.

During the night, the night shift also functions as an emergency response, as we take over the acute function from the Emergency Team. That means that you as a nurse in night shift will work closely with our partners at 1813 and 112, as well as the other units in the municipality, e.g. the nursing homes.

You manage the terminal care in close collaboration with the other shift teams, where there is an oral telephone handover from the evening shift. In addition, your tasks will be basic nursing.

You will be issued a tablet on hiring, where you can access our documentation system (Nexus). If you are new to Nexus, that's no obstacle – we will help you. The home care in Helsingør Municipality is under constant development. We are a large workplace with about 500 skilled employees serving around 2000 citizens of all ages.

The night shift is based at the home care house, Industrivej 1, 3000 Helsingør.

Working hours and salary

The position is available as of 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. We are happy to wait for the right candidate.

In the night shift we work 7/7 with working hours 22:45 – 7:15, to ensure overlap with the Emergency Team.

You are remunerated according to the agreement with DSR.
