Chef with experience in pizza and kebab wanted for Kebab & Chilis Pizza

Kebab & Chilis Pizza in Roskilde is looking for a skilled and dedicated chef for a permanent full-time position of 37 hours per week. We are looking for a chef who has experience with both pizza and kebab, and who wants to become part of the daily operations in our kitchen.

About the job

As a chef at Kebab & Chilis Pizza you will have a varied workday, where you will work with different parts of the kitchen. It is important that you can work independently, keep an overview during busy periods, and at the same time collaborate well with your colleagues.

The position is particularly aimed at a chef who has practical experience with preparing pizza and kebab, but you should also be prepared to work with the restaurant's other dishes and typical kitchen tasks.

Your tasks

Your primary tasks will be the preparation and baking of pizza, including preparation of pizza dough, toppings and other ingredients. You will also be responsible for the preparation, cooking and slicing of kebab and shawarma as well as preparation of dürüm, pita bread, kebab dishes, grill dishes, meat dishes and other dishes from the restaurant's menu.

As part of the daily operation you will also prepare and set up ingredients, plate and ready orders and ensure that the food is prepared correctly and with consistent quality. You will also participate in control and proper storage of raw materials and foods, as well as the ongoing planning and preparation of the kitchen's production.

The work also includes general cleaning and tidying of the kitchen. You must help ensure that work areas, kitchen equipment and tools are kept clean and orderly, and that applicable rules on food safety, hygiene and self-monitoring are followed.

We expect from you

We expect that you have relevant practical experience as a cook or from working in a restaurant, pizzeria, kebab restaurant or similar. It is especially important that you have experience with preparing pizza and kebab and can perform these tasks independently.

You must be able to work in a structured and efficient way, even when busy, and you must be flexible regarding the different tasks that arise during the workday. We also place emphasis on you being stable, responsible and cooperative.
